How to become a BCAT-TV Producer

When you become a BCAT-TV Station Producer, you get personal one-on-one training of our video equipment, and free use of all our digital video cameras, microphones, lights, Apple computer editing systems, and access to the 2,000 sq. ft. video production facility!

BCAT-TV also offers Home Producerships if you chose to make video programming at your home, and Multiple Producerships if you already have a partnership with another community access television station.

To help you get active Upstart offers workshops on writing and making short films & Upstart holds an annual short film contest. Upstart's workshops help you develop a body of work for career or hobby! What do you want to make? Whatever your goals, you can get it done at Upstart and BCAT-TV.

BCAT-TV is managed by Upstart and goes out to the City of Bastrop and the surrounding areas.
